Timken SNT Plummer Blocks feature durable cast-iron housing and robust sealing options to keep lubrication in and contamination out. Add in Timken® high-performance spherical roller bearings for a metric split block housed unit that delivers performance in the toughest environments.
Timken SNT Plummer Blocks are available in two- and four-bolt mounting configurations. The SNT line features 200, 300, 500 and 600 series housings; 3000 and 3100 series are available for larger sizes.

Shaft size range: 20 mm to 380 mm, cast steel and ductile iron housings available for severe duty applications.

SAF Pillow Blocks

Timken SAF pillow blocks combine rugged cast-iron or cast-steel housings with high capacity spherical roller bearings to meet the toughest demands of heavy industry.  The convenient split-housing design simplifies assembly and service.  Each pillow block contains an advanced-design spherical roller bearing with improved geometry and raceway finish for maximum load capacity and service life.  Timken manufactures pillow blocks in two main styles:  SAF and SDAF. The larger SDAF block is suggested for extreme heavy duty applications.

Size range: 1.37795 in. to 11.811 in., with special shaft sizes available up to 39.37 in. and beyond.

The Change Gasket is available is a wide range of filler and facing materials, including Flexicarb SEL Graphite, PTFE, Thermiculite and Corriculite. 

The high level of stored energy gives the Change gasket extremely high recovery. In a compression test against other gaskets, the Change Gasket recovered almost five-times better than a Kammprofile or DJ gasket. 

Available in Styles CG (winding with outer ring), CGI (Winding with inner and outer rings), RIR (winding with inner ring), R (winding only). Also available with pass bar configurations for heat exchanger applications. (Note, DJ (Double Jacketed) pass bar configuration is used). 

Standard winding heights are .125″ and .177″. See Flexitallic Engineering for appropriate winding wire height.

Metal-wound gasket designed to deliver a seal with the most dynamic recovery, with Graphite filler.

Thermiculite® 835 is a critical service gasket designed for use in applications involving high temperatures and/or aggressive chemical media. It is comprised of a spirally wound sealing element composed of a metal winding wire in combination with a vermiculite based filler material.

The gasket can be supplied with inner and/or outer centering/compression stop rings or in sealing element form. The spiral construction provides excellent sealing performance and confers high levels of gasket resilience.

Thermiculite® 835 SWG Filler Material

Thermiculite® 835 is a high temperature filler material for Spiral Wound Gaskets.
